Flick Haigh first got a taste for the track in 2005, when she was invited to a Corporate day at Bedford Autodrome, her dad has always been in to cars especially historic rallying and Flick has previously competed in events against him.
Flick was immediately drawn to the sport and has spent many a weekend stood on a pit wall watching and supporting her friends. This was enough for her to sign up to a race intensive course held at Silverstone race track. Here she had the opportunity to drive single seaters, Caterhams and Lotus Exige’s.
She immediately felt at home in the Caterham, it stood out from the rest as a fun and affordable way to get into racing. Flick quickly purchased her first race Caterham and signed up for the Caterham Classic Graduate Championship in 2007.
